My Neff dishwasher stops several times during the wash cycle and won't continue until the knob is manually moved on a bit. The water heater is working fine. If the knob isn't manually moved, the wash might complete on its own but take 6-8 hours.
Is this likely to be a timer problem? How easy/hard is it to replace the timer? I have (what appears to be) an identical redundant Hotpoint dishwasher (which came from previous house) and looks exactly the same.
