Hi just joined as only just found this site.We have had new patio doors fitted and it snowed a few days later and melted straight away but we got damp up the walls the next day. so damp the wall was wet its also a bit damp on the concrete floor.was a window until 6years ago. i cant see a damp proof course or membrane under the door. any suggestions or tips please

Hi, thanks for the reply we had fitters back today and think they may have found the problem.The manager was trying to tell us was because of new energy effiency glass but the fitters found the mortar had cracked on the row of bricks above the doors and are pretty sure thats the problem and will fix as soon as temperature gets above +4 many thanks jack
