New system boiler . Changing start up settings(auto)

My plumber installed a brand new system boiler from vaillant. One of the settings was on auto. But he set it to the max kw of the boiler (26kw) - which I presume is wrong?

Any way for me to set this back to auto. When he first booted up boiler he had this option.

Why do you presume that it is wrong? Don't you trust his engineering judgement?

Because he recommended a 37kw boiler for a 5 bedroom house. While a good plumber he may not be good at spending.

There'll be an electricity cable going into your boiler.

Trace that back to what is normally a junction box.

Find the cable that goes to the spur switch.

Turn that switch off.

Leave off for 1 year or until PCB battery loses its memory.

Turn back on.

Follow on screen instructions.

Alternatively You could check your manual for the d.00 setting.
