Hi Guys, i had pine skirtings with varnish on them, windows varnished too, but im not sure if they are pine also, i want to stain the windows a nice wood colour, not sure what colour yet, some kind of oak possibly, and i want to paint the skirtings white, i know i probably didn't have to but after lots of hard graft i have taken varnish off both right back to the wood,
i now need advice on sorting the gaps between wall and skirtings, doorframes etc, and also how to paint skirtings and stain the windows including any prep and wash down work, i am a novice but prepared to put in the work to get a good finish, i have 2 kids 1=5 1=9, would really appreciate some help please. B
