No need. The petition (which was actually started before the vote by a fearful Outist who thought that a 52% vote to remain was not decisive enough to act on) already got more than four million sigs.

Apparently the Outist and his local commander are very cross.

It's not my one, and there's every need with so many people intent on ignoring the democratic process because it didn't give them the result they wanted.

There's years of well-paid work for constitutional lawyers in UK law, and then in EU law, trying to make sense of the Old Etonians' Bungle.

Referendums have no particular power in the UK.
