I had a probelm on my Sime Friendly boiler the other night which ive sorted but while the outer case was off i noticed that the overheat thermostat thats connected to a copper pipe was very loose. If you touch the cabling going to it, it moves in the small housing thats soldered to the copper pipe. There are two screws holding it to this housing and i can see that they are not tightened up. Should this be in constant contact and the screws tight or is it how it should be?
