Hi there ,

I have a cistern that keeps filling up when its not flushed for a while. Its all since i put in a new flush button shaft which connects to the bottom of the cistern bowl/tank.Any ideas as this is happening as any overflow of anykind should be letting it away once certain levels have been reached i would have tought. Thanks

sounds like your new flush valve is passing, put some food colouring into cistern(easier to see if it's leaking into the pan)

where would the fill valve be ? Is it the arm thing that comes off of the main unit?

the fill valve is the part that lets the water into the cistern from the mains water supply.
