Hello,

Please help! I have just moved into a new house and have the most awfull wooden fireplace to compete with. I would love a stone surround, but at the moment I just cannot afford one. I have found a paint called StoneLux Fireplace Stone Coating which can be painted onto a surround to give it a stone look. Has anyone tried this paint and how does it look? What are peoples thoughts on this? Do you think it would look ok? or is there any other method I could use that you know of?

Thank you in advance.

Gertie.
