Interior walls are painted with an oil gloss paint. What is the quickest/easiest way to prepare th walls without having to sand them down - too much hard work?

Pay someone else who's not lazy.

Thanks Joe, thats really useful, you must be a comedian, do you get many laughs? Its not a question of being lazy, its the basic premise of inventiveness in trying to find an easier/better/quicker way to do things. I use power tools to make DIY easier, and drive a car cause it is quicker - if you can,t be positive to a reasonable request for information then crawl back in your cave and be quiet.

Joe90 - is'ent that some sort of dummy - the shoe fits.

You will have to give them a bit of a rub down to 'kill' the gloss...then a coat of zinsseer bin primer, or something similar..

Waterbased masonry paint will work if you have any spare as its full of acrylic resin or acrlic primer/undercoat.
