Hi everyone,

Just about to paint our Victorian semi which is pebble dashed.

The wall ties were replaced before we moved in so the whole house is covered in blobs of render, covering up the repairs. I was wondering what the best way is to conceal these so they don't show through after painting?

Should I just use a primer on the affected areas or just paint the house twice?

A painter I spoke to suggested using a textured paint first to try and match up the repairs with the rest of the exterior surface?

thanks

Yes you can give that a try, just thin your first coat out a little to offer better penatration.
