Hi,

I have spent this weekend painting our hallway will Dulux Matt Emulsion. We have gone from an off white / cream colour to 'Chic Shadow.' The first coat went on really well, and we got good coverage. After letting it dry overnight we started on the second coat. After letting it dry however, patches started to develop and we are a bit lost over what to do. Do we go for a third coat, or are we missing something? They are especially visible when looking along the wall and are not visible when looking directly

Atached is a picture of the most frustrating part.

Our kit list, in case it helps is as follows:

Harris Roller
Std Homebase Roller
Std Homebase Mini roller

Any advice is much appreciated!

Well your not exactly using top end gear and your problem is technique and finishing, just search through the threads there's plenty of advice on here, basically roll in strips from left to right or vice versa, don't start in the middle of the wall like the tv diy muppets

Thanks, so your solution would be another coat, applied using a more professional manner and better equipment?

You may well have over rolled it in places therefore pulling the paint back off the wall
