hi does any one know of a change in the law that says you need council permission to lay slabs due to lack of drainage .....
do you know where to find old 2x3 old council slabs i will need 120
any one have any ideas ?

Tim - loads on ebay, search for concrete slabs or flagstones. Check out your local reclamation yards. Local councils usually sub out their highway work, try to discover who does your local stuff then contact them ... they may have a stack in their yard otherwise they'll have a pile broken stuff ready for crazy paving.

As to your point here in ireland its seems to be a request to change the
law = but yet has to be legislated / Hopefully the same applys to yourself

Not sure if its actually started yet but from about now you'll need planning permission to pave over your front garden.
