BRITAIN’S top military commander is to be paid according to performance for the first time, in the Government’s latest drive to extend merit pay across the public sector.

Does he get paid according to the efficiency of his troops? Is there a sliding scale, eg. a only fiver bonus if it's only a flesh wound?

i hope it doesnt affect council electricians! then again, if it did id prob get a pay rise
