I have unsightly pebbledash on the front of my terraced house. I would like to remove it back to the red bricks but i dont know what condition the red bricks are in. What should I do? Would it be better to render the pebbledash?

The pebbledash will have been applied to hide something. Chances are the old bricks are ugly or damaged. If the pebbledash is falling off you should remove it before re-applying. this will also give you the chance to investigate how awful they are. If the house was built with the intention of rendering, then the bricks are likely to be badly laid and cheap rejects.
