Plastic or copper?

I'm sure it's been asked before but I can't find it.

Just about to order a Potterton combi boiler and install heating system in my little 3 bed house that I've bought as a BTL.

So what's the consensus of opinion on the piping? Plastic or copper and if plastic which system?

With the cost of copper at the moment, a mix would be feasible. Where all pipework is on show use copper, where pipework is hidden i.e under floor use plastic.
