Please Help, problems attaching a radiator thermostat

Hi there,
I really hope someone can help. A friend of mine can round to help me move some furnature, in doing so they had to remove the thermostat from my radiator. It was late and he had to go and didnt re-attach it. It came off so easily and I don't want to have to call him up to come help if its a 20 second job.
So here it goes, it is an old danfoss and look like this...

And ideas how i put it back on?

Push it on it should click, if not try twisting the collar they are spring loaded sometimes when they come of they dont go back on!

As above, that collar is spring loaded, place on top of valve twist the black serrated bit against the spring an push hard
