Hi,
What would be the best mix/colour for these?
I did some recently and used a strong mix (sand cement) but the joints have turned almost white so i'm not happy with it. A darker colour would look best but i believe a mortar dye would fade.Any ideas?
Thanks.

we always do khota black and slate in plain sand. dye will always fade back. looks nice but in a few years it will look grey and tired.

Mixing ordinary cement with coloured sand seems to keep its original colour.
But I have only bought coloured sand by the ton so it might be a problem for smaller quantities.

ok, thanks to you both, when you say "plain sand" thermo, is that sand mixed with cement?
