Potterton Combi 80 - Heating Problems

I have an intermittent problem with the central heating side of my boiler. The boiler fires up then within about 30 seconds stops again. This does not happen all the time, sometimes for a few hours or a whole day, then it will be alright again. Hot water is fine.

I would be grateful to hear from anybody who has had similar problems or knows what the solution might be.
