Potterton MF80 boiler over heat/lock out

Hi all the boiler starts up then after 2 mins it gose in to lock out, pump is working? it's very hot?

does heat circulate round rads and cylinder?

Hi Mick yes when you put to heating it stays alight longer as the water temp of the boiler is dissipated, it seems as the boiler temp/stat dose not work ? but not to shore ?

A faulty PCB on this appliance can cause overheating.
They just fail to switch off.
