Our somewhat old heating system is a one pipe system and now there are a number of radiators that are hot on top and cold at the bottom. Standard problem of sludge I guess. I have tried some chemical treatement but with limited success. Is it worth trying a powerflush? I think I've read somewhere that powerflushing on a 1 pipe system doesn't do anything - is this true?
