I'm diggin the retro-patchwork-carpet combo!

Celotex and Kingspan are on equal terms.

Don't ignore cold bridging through the rafters.

I can't take any responsibility for those lumps of carpet, we have just exchanged contracts so they are not quite ours ,yet.
I have searched and found a thread on how to insulate this type of space,it came with diagrams and all sorts of very useful info so I know what needs to be done, just what's the best stuff to use. This is going to be a proper job as it has the bedrooms underneath it and it would cost a fortune to keep all that space warm. We will be fitting a new boiler as well, so it's a good time to get it fully insulated. The areas to the sides are going to be insulted on a freebie via the council
