Hi
I am currently converting a garage into a living space. the brickwork has been done for the window. At the moment i have double skim with a 50mm cavity filled with insulation. Does the brickwork need any further preparation or can i go straight ahead and screw in UPVC window?
Boards and plastering all to be done afterwards.
Thanks
nick

Double skim?...does that mean cavity wall??

Better trimming the slap cavities with TDI thermacor cavity closer, better closing by far and a continuous dpc. Available at Jewsons and the like...pinenot :)
