I don't know if I'm in the right section with this problem.

I have a Karcher 300 Pressure washer and after the winter lay up I decided to clean the flags of the grime that has built up over the wet season. It has been stored in a wooden shed that is dry but inevitably damp with all the rain we've had.
I connected the washer up to the water and power. Pressed the trigger on the lance, it went for about 5 minutes then it blew a fuse, replaced it but it blew again.

Is it knackered?

A chap down the road had a similar problem with an angle grinder. That turned out to be him using an extension lead with a 5amp fuse where the angle grinder was 2000 watts.

Thanks Stephen,
No! not guilty of that. I didn't make that mistake.

It has a 13amp fuse and I plugged it directly into a mains socket.
