Hi,

4 months ago we had a brand new Worcester 28i Junior fitted in the house. I looked at the pressure gague the other day and found it to be zero. The reason I looked was because I have to keep releasing air (bleeding)from the bathroom radiator about once a week. I know the gauge has read 1.5 bar recently. The gauge has been reading zero for about 4 days but everything works fine. Ok, so do I have a problem ? why do I have to keep bleeding the rad's.......and how do I top up the water on this type of boiler ? Do I have cover for Worcester on this boiler seen as its 4 months old, will I have to pay for a callout ?

I know its a lot of questions so thanks for any help given. Cheers.

Its very simple!

Your installer should have indicated on the Benchmark Certificate that he has explained the controls to you. That will have included topping up the pressure. Thats a user function.

If you are bleeding rads then you have to top the pressure back up to 1.5 Bar cold.

Call the installer back ( free ) to show you how to top it up! He was CORGI registered and filled in the Benchmark didn't he?
