Hi guys need help asap!!!!!!!
Bought dulux primer/sealer for problem Walls and started painting and was quite surprised coz it said off White color and it was clear, even though I shook it. Did half the kitchen and dipped my roller into it really deep and it revealed some milky residue on the bottom((( I obviously didn't shake it well((

Gave it a mighty shake and it's now milky colour as supposed to be(( what do I do now? Is it ok to go over them bits I just coveted again with a proper solution now or do I wait for it to dry first? Really haven't got time and can't afford to lose more to wait for drying((((((

Please advise?

Dont just shake the can, unless your an industrial mixer it aint enough. Tin may have been stored for a year and you think a 30 second shake is gonna mix it. Give it a good stir! I use the wifes wooden spoon and we sometimes use a paint mixing paddle with a slow speed drill for some of the specialist damp treating paints.
Wait for it to dry properly before recoating as advised on the tin. Lesson learned ;)

That was good advice from handyman77, often before a tin of paint is purchased it could have been stored/shelved for a number of years, paint is made up relying on three factors. Pigment, solvent, and binder. In your case I would say the binder to be oleoresin, so when paint is stored the pigment settles at the bottom, and the binder floats to the top, held apart only by the solvent. This could be either spirit or water based.

To bring the paint to life all of the three factors have to be brought together as one unit, so a very good stir is the way to go.
