I am a newbiee and hello everyone in the forum.

I have just got myself a new house and the house has got a honeywell galaxy 2 series installed, but the part set and night set were not set correctly to my desire.

Upon checking the menu, I need a level 3 access (menu 48). The access required a enginerring code to access the menu which I don't have. I call them up and they wanted £180 + VAT to get someone out to put the code in. (Only putting it in, not giving it to me)

I own the system outright, the system in not under contract and its a audio only alarm. I really can't see why I am not allow to have the code but that their policy.

They say there is a way to default the system, wonder any expert here can let me know how to do that. Many thanks for your guys help. :D

If you search online you can find the default engineers code and how a user can allow an engineer access.

but you will need the engineers code to get into engineering.

I am not familiar with this system, and even if I was telling you how to default the codes is taboo unfortunately.

You may be able to find your answer if you search hard enough.
