I need to replace the leaking flat roof on my garage and was thinking of fitting a pitched roof finished with profiled steel roof sheeting, does anyone know if condensation is likely to be a problem with this type of product - I don't want condensation dripping down onto stuff in the garage :(

Used these on my garage roof and condensation was a big problem in winter. Some of the sheets came with a very thin fabric coating on the inside face, these didnt drip condensation but the fabric coating looked damp. I put polystyrene sheets up against the inside face of the roofing sheets and hav'nt had a problem since (4 years) though these could just be hiding it.

Condensation will find it way to cold metal unless you use something like this

I found the cheapest way was to use roofing felts just under the sheet profile and any condensation is then collected onto the felt via straight out to the rain gutter
