Questions on Galaxy G2 hybrid panel

If yes to both then I think we have a winner.

1. No wireless keypad unless you do something with WiFi, virtualkeypad and an Android tablet.
2. The external bell box can only be wired. There's no option for wireless sounders.

The scantronic ion 16 is there a cheaper Ethernet alternative ? The official module is quite pricey. I know the keypad can be wireless but I want remote monitoring and servicing.

You may be better looking at GSM modules for that. Usually very expensive doubling the cost of the system though.

There's nothing cheaper for Ethernet than the Galaxy and low cost Ethernet module. You could always go for that and add RF fobs for setting, keeping the keypad hidden in a cupboard next to the panel.

Yeah sounds good. Is it just as easy to night set the G2 with the keyfob because my sister wants to arm just downstairs at night. Don't want Amelia setting off the alarm at 3am because she had a bad dream or something
