Quick question.

Are all radiator bleed valves / keys standard ?

Reason i ask is that every radiator in my house has a bleed valve that my key fits, except one which just has a big square hole (looks like the valve without the square bit you turn in it).

Does this mean that there is no bleed valve on this rad, or is it a different type ?

Cheers chaps !

Could it be that this rad is the one used to drain the system? I believe one rad should be slightly lower than the rest to enable the valve you mention to drain out through a hose or similar?

Sorry if I'm way off - - - - - -

Interesting point - maybe true ?

I think that it might just have a different bleed valve type ? I'll try twisting it around and see what happens - might get a boat first though ;)

I guess the obvious way to tell is

Bleed valve at the top, drain valve at the bottom???
