I have primed a new small shelf unit, ready to paint, but I've no top coat. However, I do have a new tin of Rustin's radiator paint leftover from another job.

Is there any reason why I can't use the radiator paint on the wood?

Thanks.

I'm getting worried now ... 29 views and not one reply..... was hoping to start painting early this morning ... does nobody know? Have tried Googling...

I see no reason not to use the paint -so go for it(y) Good to see you back on the forum.

Thanks for the welcome, Nige. OK I have painted it, and now I know why it's not great to use: it stinks!

I'll probably be around a lot more, because I have recently entered a stage in which I am DIY crazy! All day every day I am doing various DIY jobs! This is partly prompted by having bought a brand new Bosch cordless drill, and it's so great it makes me want to drill holes everywhere! I also bought a mouse sander!
