I has been noticed that since using the heating for a short period the radiators do not seem to cool down. The heating could be on for an hour in the evening and before going to bed ensure that the heating is not active. When getting up in the morning the radiators are roasting hot.
I am not fully aware of the boiler being on as it is in the garage. We do not have thermostatic valves on the radiators downstairs so it is like being on holiday!!
The boiler itself has recently been serviced and thought the heating system was going to be looked at but do not think this was the case!! I have a Potterton boiler with a hot water tank.
Grateful if someone could give an idea as to what the issue might be - valve micro switches?? How much a service with new valve would be (South East location)
