Hi - I need your help please guys....

Renovating a 1970s house; I've had the boiler serviced, all well and good, and now need to update the timer and the valves. 2 questions:
1) Can I get TRVs for microbore?
2) Is it reasonably straightforward to replace a Randall 4033 programmer (huge lump of a thing) with a modern-day version? Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance

Yep trvs come in 10mm or 8mm for microbore and yes you can replace the programmer with any suitable one depending what your system is , ie gravity water and pumped heating or fully pumped system , s plan , y plan etc

Are your present valves twin entry or valve either side of rad
