Hello

Socket got a bit of water in ,from boiler change, which tripped the rcd, replaced socket and all has been fine for 2 days.
Now mcb for sockets has tripped and well as the rcd, there are 2 sockets mcb,
1 stays tripped the other is fine.
But soon as i plug in any appliance its trips{both are now tripped}.

The socket which got wet 2 days ago is isolated but mcbs still trip

Thanks Paul

Do MCBs and RCD set and trip when all the equipment is unplugged or just when equipment is being powered
Is there any particular appliance that trips these devices or does it happen regardless of what you have plugged in?

Not at all strange - suggests one or more appliance is to blame for the tripping, which is more often the case than tha tthe structural wiring is to blame. However, it's less likely that two appliances on different circuits have developed faults at the same time, so it might be that your two circuits have become interconnected so that one faulty appliance can affect both.
