central heating system was working well but now wont fire up done usual checks batteries took thermostat nearer boiler seems to be talking to relay put controller on continuous put thermostat to 0 relay goes off comes back on at 20 any help would be appreciated boiler 2 year old vailliant eco tec pro honeywell hcw80 thermostat.

I nearly passed out from the lack of a breath.It would depend how you have this wired.
I'm assuming you have a multimeter or means to test this...
On the stat terminal base there are two terminals marked A & B.
If you have 230v on terminal A then you have a supply to the stat (be it from the boiler or spur) then the stat would give the boiler a switched live on B. if you have power on both A & B I'd say its a fault with something else (boiler PCB perhaps or a system fault)

This system has been working ok for 2years,the hot water is working but the radiators are not.Ihave binded the wireless stat as per instructions and moved it nearer to boiler,usually it just fires up on continuous running.Have also tried reset button 3 times as per vaillant manual to no avail.The stat seems to be talking to relay ,this system is only 2 years old.Any help gratefully accepted with thanks Dean
