We have stone corbel's under the gutters on both sides of the house, they're gloss black. On the north facing side I simply touched them up with exterior gloss(not masonry). and they look fine
However, on the south facing side the thick gloss paint has cracked and flaked quite a lot so I'm slightly unsure how to paint them.
I've tried removing the old paint with paint stripper, scraping, heat gun and wire brush and half of it comes out easy, the other half will not budge.
It doesn't have to be a perfect job as they're so high up imperfections won't show but what would be the best solution?
Scrape off as much loose as possible and then paint with an exterior gloss masonry paint?
