Redecorating hardwood external door

Just moved house and the front door is a bit draughty so whilst sorting this out I may as well give it a makeover before I add new letter box etc.

Not sure on the best way to go about this. It's a hardwood door but not sure if veneered etc.

I really like sikkens paint so was looking at the Satura Rubbol plus paint with a similar primer and a coat of Zinnsers Bin first.

Will this be OK if I give the existing door a good rub down and light rub in between coats. Thanks

Sikkens are excellent but use the XD for exterior. Bin is a PITA to keep a wet edge, cover stain would be better or aluminium wood primer. If you want the satura finish the BL satura is as good as the rubbol but check its ok to use outside. You have to keep checking back for runs with this paint, they come out of nowhere!
