Remote Control Wireless Keyboard for SMART TV?

Really appreciate any guidance on this issue...

I'd like to use a wireless remote control, that includes a keyboard, to control a Samsung SMART TV (UE32D5520 RK). There are plenty of products on the market that appear suitable but compatibilities are never clear to me. I want to be able to input search words when searching YouTube, Muzu and other apps instead of using the supplied Samsung remote.

For instance, would this do the job?

It should work so long as the TV is a 2012 model or later, and the keyboard appears as a HID device.

In the grand scheme of things though, the keyboard is just over a tenner. It might be worth a punt just to try it. Alternatively, pick up a used one for half the cost.

The link was useful and provided the answer. I found that the TV doesn't have the necessary hardware or software, e.g. the TV is USB 1 (needs to be USB 2.0), no mention of HID or bluetooth on the TV or in the manual. Damn.

A bit bulkier (and pricier), but I've been using this keyboard on a similar age samsung smart TV:

Can't guarantee it'll work on all models, but was recommended it when other options failed to work.

Thanks ellal but from what I've found so far, no keyboard of any kind is going to work with this particular TV so I'm going to forget the idea.
