Hi,

can anyone recommend anyone suitable to perform the task of removing our external render from our oldish farmhouse - we're looking to potentially remove all the render, and getting it replaced with a lime render to allow the house to breath.

The surveyor said that specialist equipment may be required as its well attached to the house :(

We live just north of Doncaster, so any local companies that come recommended, can come round and quote.

Thanks
Tony

Hi,

unfortunately, its a large job, and due to the ability of the render to stay on the walls, suspect specialist tools may be required to get it off easily!

Thanks
Tony

Specialist equiptment  ie. " I don`t know so I`ll BS this client" A lightweight breaker with a bolster chisel attachment . And maybe a air powered scabbler  but you won`t know until you start. Therefore you won`t get a Quote , you`ll only get an Estimate ;) Good Luck

well, we had a quote today from a local rendering company, I didn't realise that I'd have to take out a new mortgage to get the stuff removed and replaced!

So far the wife hasn't commented on the quote.... one can only imagine what she's thinking
