..just having house rewired...now there are lots of holes in the plasterboard to fill in.. about 4 to 6 inch square...whats the best way to repair these.
Alternatively cut a piece of 6mm mdf larger than the hole, drill hole in middle and pass piece of string through and tie an knot at the back only. Use gripfill around the edge of mdf, pass mdf through the hole diagonally and use string to pull mdf tight against the back of the plasterboard (adhesive side of course). Secure string with pencil or wood scrap. Plaster over rest of hole when adhesive is set.
