replace hedge by fence in conservation area?

hi,
could anyone here confirm whether I must seek planning approval prior to replacing a hedge by a fence in a conservation area?

You can't wipe your @rs3 in a conservation area without permission. Whatever you do don't do anything to the hedge until you have formal approval for what you want to do.
