Replacing a old Honeywell Room Thermostat with a CM907

Hi

I'm hoping that someone might be able to help me with a wiring query please.

I've just moved house and I've brought my Honeywell CM907 with me:


In my new house, they've got this Thermostat:


It's currently wired like this:


And the wiring diagram looks like this:


From what I can see, these are the connections:

Yellow wire (with black tape) - Terminal 1
Both blue wires - Terminal 2
Yellow wire - Terminal 3

This is the wiring diagram for the CM907:



Could anyone tell me which wire should go to which terminal on the CM907 please?

I tried what I though it should be, but ended up blowing the fuse, so I'd like someone with more knowledge than me to take a look.

1 to A, 3 to B and terminate the blue safely as not required.
