Hi there.
I have just purchased a new seal for our Sandringham cistern. I contacted Armitage shanks to be sure of the right one. However the cistern is 7 years old and we cannot get the mechanism free. It is push down and turn which will not move. Any suggestions gratefully received. (We do live in a hard water area)

Cannot believe that limelight de-scaler squirted around the join a few times unstuck it. All working fine now.
