I am told that I can mix sawdust with 'resin' to make an excellent filler for wood.

What kind of 'resin' do I need ? Where can I get hold of it ?

    Best wishes

A general purpose polyester resin will do, this is the type of resin used for laying up fibreglass. You could try a car shop but the resin is often tinted as the hardener is green/yellow.

Axminsters do some of the West Systems range or the small bottles of Z-poxy will probably do unless you need a lot.

Always used to use standard PVA glue (wood glue) to do it
