Restoring crittal steel windows

Hi, I have steel crittal windows - the ones in the bathroom are quite rusty. Was planning to restore them as follows:

* Use nitromors or similar to strip all paint
* Scrape off remaining paint, sand off any rust
* paint with zinc rustproof paint
* paint with a new paint

Does this look right or not?

To make a lasting job you would need to remove all the glass and treat the glazing rebates as they will be the source of most of the rust. Not clear from your description if that is what you intended.

also make sure you retain the zinc glass retainers.
