Retro Fit Dry Verge

I guess they are ok as long as you have timber barges and not a cut brick gable and that your barge boards are in good order.

Hi, I'm in the process of fitting some. Very easy to fit. The only thing I don't like is that they are quite wide and cover more of the fascia than I would have liked. A lot quicker and easier than messing about with extending battens or fixing additional timber and seem pretty secure.

Ahha, I'm not alone !

Have only 'dry run' fitted two sample ones, was wondering how they reckoned a screw on that bottom lip and the top edge locating under the overlapping tile would secure them enough ?

Though about putting a screw though the 'batten' holes either a long one into the actual batten or with a spacer into the barge board for extra hold but you are saying not needed.

If you have long enough battens it would give some piece of mind but the top edge locking together seems to help hold things together. If you don't have a decent tile overhang it might not be quite so secure.
