RSJ Install info request

Hi I need advise on the distance between acros. I am installing a 254 x 254 x 89 uc rsj the length is 5.2 mtrs. I propping to the ground and using needles to support the wall above as this is the back of my house gable end.

Question 1 the ground is not concrete but oversight can i sit the arcos on 2 dense concrete block? q

Question 2 is 1 meter apart between the acros left to right across the opening enough or should they be closer.

Other information the overall length of the wall is 6.7 mtrs and the rsj will be sitting on to pad stones 300 x 250 x 140.
