Samsung Washing Machines Confusion!

Nothing like a bit of WMP in the morning (washing machine porn)... except with washing machine porn, your clothes go in dirty and come out....filthy!!

Had 4 over 30 years, hotpoint lasted 18 years, zannussi lasted 5, Bosch just managed 3 (overrated P.O.S ). Ended up with a Beko, thought "why pay more" , if it goes wrong after 2 year warranty just buy another. 4 years on, still going strong & the quietest one the wife has used & all for £179.

The WMB51021W is a Which "Don't Buy"....

There are no Best Buy Beko washing machines.

The £290 WMB101433LW got top marks at 68% and a half decent review. The only thing that let it down was poor rinsing.

"Which" magazine - well known for unbiased reports! I had an uncle who read from cover to cover and it and it seemed to make him an expert on everything.... Whatever you bought, he'd delight in telling you that "Which" had slated it.
I've had 3 Hoover WM's in over 30 years and my mum's Hotpoint is still going at 18.

Unlike, for example, the shop assistant who is on commission and has a sales target to meet. Or your neighbour who has only bought one machine in the last ten years. Or the manufacturer's adverts. Or the windowcleaner who maybe has been lucky or unlucky.

Ours is getting on for 18 now, but it's had a really hard life...3 washes a day.

You could look at customer reviews on amazon or similar sites.

There's a odd problem on some of these large capacity machines, they'll take 9kg of general wash, but some only take half that for towels because they unbalance the machine.

Looked at reviews everywhere I could. They are mostly very good; 4.7/5. One lone 1 star review on amazon remarked about very poor reliability, but it comes with a 5 year warranty.

Which rate them highly; higher than a Miele which has "very poor rinsing performance".
