What is the point of the condensor? Is it to protect the motor if the macerator jams with too much paper etc down the loo? The saniflo is buzzing but all the water backs up and I don't want to spend the 25 quid for a condenser if it's the motor and I have to replace the whole unit. How can I diagnose which it is ? I'm not sure I want to call out the sanioflo man at £85.00 plus vat plus parts if it is the condenser
Thanks

Thanks for the link, although it seems it may be jammed and not the condenser

How difficult is it to get to the cutter/macerator to clear anything stopping it turning? do you just have to take off the top and is it obvious?

If it's jammed, then you will have to dismantle the unit. This will inevitably mean cleaning away the minced remains of whatever went into the toilet earlier.
If any section of the outlet pipe goes upwards (such as when the satanic device is installed in a basement), then everything in that pipe will empty out onto the floor.
