I have a saniplus that has developed a problem, when you flush the loo, some water comes out into the shower tray. This is a new problem, so I don't think its to do with the installation being fautly.

I've read around a few forums, and saw someone recommending to put a "hep20 horizontal diaphragm trap" into the shower waste pipe. This makes some intuitive sense to have some kind of one way valve so that waste water can't go back up into shower tray..

Would there originally have been some kind of valve in there already that needs replacing? I can't find anything called a "horizontal diaphragm trap" on the hep20 website.. if I do need some kind of trap to fix this problem, could someone point me towards a link of what I might need?

Or is the problem caused by something else?

Many thanks,

Sam.
