My dog died and I was wondering whether I can modify my Scantronic XCELRPT to be XCELR and get the increased protection that they provide over the pet friendly sensors.

On a related note, why do the radio XCELR devices not shine a red light when you walk underneath them? Batteries are fresh and they trigger during the walk test.
